Leading international equity hedge fund, based in New York City, is searching for a trading assistant to work along side the head trader. Daily responsibilities include: · Resolve position differences in equities, derivatives, money markets, FX · Resolve calculation differences in NAVs, portfolio betas & option deltas · Compile information for morning call · Liaison with trading desks in equities, stock loan, money markets, FX · Assist in funds strategy of value investing, arbitrage & positioning Candidate will have 1-3 years experience in a trading environment. If limited trading experience, strong back-office experience needed. Bachelor degree and strong Excel skills are required. Must have strict attention to detail, organizational skills and strong integrity a must. Fast paced environment handling many tasks. Email resumes and cover letters to [email protected].
