Major Global Investment Bank requires a talented Analyst-Developer to carry out complex Front Office development work utilising a wide variety of technologies. Currently, the main technologies currently used are C++, Unix, Excel, VBA and Excel. As part of a specialist team within Emerging Markets you will work closely with groups on new strategic systems, combining knowledge of spreadsheet and Quantitative development. The work will involve full, systems builds including in-depth analysis on business critical sites. You will require a solid permanent background with a minimum 2yrs system build experience within a Fixed Income environment, coupled with an excellent understanding of the investment-banking arena. You will also need a solid understanding of Excel/VBA, C++, SQL and any RDBMS, and a strong educational background (ideally a mathematical degree) to secure this role. |
