Convertibles Arbitrage (Jr.) Hedge Fund Trader � N

Job Description: Top tier NYC based hedge fund is seeking a trader to join a proven and successful Convertible Arbitrage unit. The primary role will be to execute trades, communicate with brokers, and to help in hedging and strategy development. Applicants must have a thorough understanding of convertibles securities and related [derivatives] structures as well as at least 1-year experience trading them. It is a relatively junior role for a team player with 1-4 years industry experience who has a Quant/Engineering BS/MS degree from a top school. Superior analytical and communication skills are a must. Very attractive compensation and benefits package.
