Job Description:

Working as part of a dynamic Front Office team within Equities, you will be developing Cash Trading systems using VisualC++. Developing and maintaining the trading systems within this investment bank, you will initially be undertaking development using VC++, with a strategic move towards C#/.NET. The role itself will see a mix of functionality, from development of new components and screens through to the maintenance of existing applications. Moving towards C#/.NET in the long run, will mean that you will need some knowledge of these products, although full training will be given to all of the team. You should have been working within an investment banking environment for around three years, most of which will need to have been spent working on trading systems and your technical background, in addition to your VC++ skills, will need to include Windows NT, MFC, COM, VB and Sybase. Working very closely with the business, you will also ideally have first-hand experience of working within an Equities environment. |
