Job Description:

Our client is looking for a developer to support the prepayment modelling effort on the US mortgage desk. The candidate will focus on improving our prepayment systems infrastructure by (a) automating data verification, (b) optimising prepayment report generation and (c) expanding our existing framework to handle additional mortgage products.
The successful applicant will work closely with traders and researchers and will be exposed to prepayment research, pricing analytics and trading strategies. The candidate needs to have a strong background in the development of complicated software systems, possess strong analytic skills, and needs to be able to work well in a dynamic environment.
We currently trade US mortgage products as well as a range of products in USD, CAD, JPY, GBP and EUR. The technical skills required are Perl and C++ on the Unix platform. Background in mortgages or any other Fixed Income products is must. |
